Me too, I thought infinities were good speakers.About everybody on this forum has blown speakers. Let me know what you replace them with. I was thinking some new infinities but i don't know now, they don't have a good track record with the durango.

 

Aftermarket Infinities are good from what I understand but since I'm not a big fan on spending a lot of $ on audio then I'll try repairing them first. I'd rather invest my $ in my FM40 and t/s lift (hopefully next month when I get my tax refund ).

 

Just a heads up, the slt + is more than the leather and the wonderful Infinity system. The + package is the upgraded tranny and oil coolers for towing, may include the class 3 receiver hitch, Different gears and cold weather features like the block warmer... dont know where the options stop with the slt, and go on to the plus, but I have the plus, and all that stuff, I dont believe i have upgraded suspension though, at least not the Bilsteins. My shocks were shot, replaced them with Monroe sensatracs... it rides nice on smooth roads... but on rough roads like crap...I think that is in part because of the quality rubber that dodge uses...I think every bushing is dry rotted...so I wont completely rule the shocks as being crappy...untill I can get all the bushing replaced.... but as for the after market Infinity's they are far better than the ones that are in all our D's. Just look at the two side by side and youll see the difference in quality....Not that I have the extra cake to replace my cracklin' speakers..lol, but If I did I would get the real Infinity's.
