Hey guys a little question what's the difference between the SLT and the SLT+? I know I have one of the two.

 

the SLT+ has just about the same options as the R/T except for the R/T cosmetic badging.

 

Okay so upgraded suspension and other goodies like that? I guess I have the SLT then because I didn't have Bilsteins, but I do now.

 

SLT+ usually had the Infinity stereo, the woodgrain, leather and running boards. None of the Ds had Bilsteins factory. They are only on Rams (the v-10s I think).

would it be possible i have an SLT+ then? i have the leather seats, woodgrain trim on all 4drs, dash vents n around my guages. my rear leaf springs. the lowest one has an extra bend to it. seems weird. but rides really smooth. i dont have the running boards. but it looks like i have have once upon a time. i had the infinity system. but the previous owner removed and replaced it with walmarts RoadMaster speakers...they suck big time.

 

there has been a few posts on slt slt+ as for the diffrence the SLT is exactly the same as the slt+ but the slt+ has a little better package like the RT but not with the upgrade in the motor like tuning and stuff. but they give you all the nice things of the RT in the SLT + with out the performance stuff. (as far as I have been informed) my parents owned a slt + in 2001 a 2001 slt+ the diffrence was not only did it have the nice stero and leather but it had heated seats and AWD.. which other slt did not have.. thats why it was + I believe.. but it did not have the perfomance like the RT had.. hence you could use cheep gas to run it (thats why my parents bought it) I hope that helps some what.. any please tell me if I am wrong .. hahahaha I dare you .. hehehehe JP

 

Ok then I have the SLT+ cuz I have all of that good stuff... Blown infinities and all LOL.

 

Blown Infinities indeed. I replaced mine in June with Kappas. Sounds great!

bolth of you guys have blown speakers ouch.. mine are still hitting strong, needs a better amp thats all.. but then again, I am a 22 year old kid who like to pump the stero.. I just found a head unit I want has not only mp3 cd function but it is ipod ready and has a usb port up front ready for any mp3 player.. bad AZZ.. JP

 

Mine were blown from day one so I just put the bass all the way down until I have money for new ones or get that cone repairing stuff and see if I can make it work. It's a good thing I like rock so I don't need bass.
