thats a good point indy. I guess its just a feeling of safety when you know you got traction in all your tires. but then again that was before I read this thread..it would seem i was doing all the wrong things. Drivin in 4hi for an hour, switchin to 4hi on the fly above 45mph..all that stuff..

someone call for me?? LOL... j/k I never know that and the other day my brother in law set it in 4hi and I drove 200 miles on dry pavement like that until I went to turn in the Home Depot parking lot and noticed that it wouldnt move easily and it made a loud noise.. like a howling sound. Put it back into 2wd and all is good now... wwwheeeeeeewwwwwww

Remember to back that truck to get it all the way out. Turn both ways while backing all the way then I back up (all together like 100 yards). Then pull forward and turn tight an see if there is any wheel hop to see if it's still in.. The NV242HD transfer case don't like to fully come out as the last setting is 4PT just to remind you.
