I have a dumb question regarding codes.

There are several mentions of people throwing codes.

Where do these codes show up?

Is there an aftermarket code reader? If so, where do you purchase one, how much
does it cost, and where do you plug it in?

you can use the key method... turn the ignition to the run position (on) but dont start, sequence goes on-off-on-off-on and the codes will pop up on the odometer. do not turn the key off on the last on.
