Can someone please measure the length of their shocks (front and rear) while their truck is sitting on a flat surface and post it here. For the rear, measure from center of top bolt to center of bottom bolt. For the front, measure from the lower part of the top mount to the center of the bottom bolt.
Please note year & model of your Durango.

Why?
I have custom lowered my '04 Dakota QC 4x4 and I am trying to find shocks to go with my lower ride hieght. I am wondering if stock Durango shocks have a shorter stroke/lower ride hieght than stock Dakota shocks.

you don't want stock shock heights for a lowered quad. you'll bottom out or do you plan on subtracting the drop measurement from the stock measurement? does that make sense???

I edited my original post. I am looking for the length of stock durango shocks to compare them to my lowered ride hieght in my Dakota 4x4. If Durango shocks are shorter stroke/lower ride hieght I might try a set.

 

why not throw some toxic shock in there? specially designed for lowered applications

Bergjw: Thanks fo those lengths, I guess you are measuring the shock when not installed? I was hoping to get the static ride height with the shock installed.

 

measurd the shocks when not installed.

Made new ones for my durango for the rear.
adjustable in and outgoing.
a friend is working by WHITE POWER shocks in germany.
within 1 month i do also the front shocks
i can tell all the DURANGO drivers the car is steering 100 % better
half and full loaded
