only thing ramps will help you do is get under your D when pulling the tranny pan. Either ramps or axle stand will work fine, just reember to put blocks down in front and behind the wheels.

you need to yank the pan to drain the fluid... loosen the bolts up and make it so you can tilt the pan to allow some of it to drain out, the pull it down and dump it. then you'll have to yank the filter and replace it, then put the pan & gasket back on and re-fill it.
really easy to do. According to the '01 service manual, the 42re (tranny you most likely have) takes 4.0 quarts (3.8L) of fluid

What's the difference in the +4 and the +3? Because I was told (and I use) ATF +3

Some extra ingredient chrysler likes to use. You may want to get a really good flush to get that +3 out completely and use +4
