The 4.7 came out in 2000
as for the radiator cap in the middle of the hose. That's when they changed the radiator. They moved the cap from the radiator (98,99) to the hose starting in 2000.
I think the 5.2 and 5.9 look pretty close to the same under the hood in 98 and 99
