Default Trans slip - cold

Hi all,

I have a 2001 R/T that just had a transmission rebuild a month ago. It is nice and solid except when the weather is cold (<32F). Untill you dive a few miles it slips (clunks into gear from a stop). I thought the rebuild would have fixed this. Am I missing a sensor problem or something?

This is my first Durango after driving Ramchargers (5 of them) and couldn't be happier![sm=drooldude.gif]

Get them to fix it and on a side note if you haven't already you will want to replace the radiator. When the tranny goes it takes the radiator with it in these and will give you a lot of problems later without a new radiator. Do a search on here for "tranny" and you will find an old post of mine about it. I have also put the link ina recent post around here somewhere...

This is no normal. It sounds like a weak pump or a bad band. Take it back and have them fix it.
