Default Assistance with build sheet codes

Ok... Could someone please explain a few things for me? I'm looking at a few codes from my factory build sheet and I have no idea what they mean. Here's the codes I have questions about their meanings:

Z5AS - GVW/Payload Rating
DHAP - Lock-Up Torque Converter
DRBP- Corporate 9.25 LD Rear Axle
ADHP - Heavy Duty Electrical Group
ADJ - Heavy Duty Service Group
AHC- Trailer Tow Group
NMCP - Heavy Duty Engine Cooling

Any more info on these codes would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

Ok... Could someone please explain a few things for me? I'm looking at a few codes from my factory build sheet and I have no idea what they mean. Here's the codes I have questions about their meanings:

Z5AS - GVW/Payload Rating - You may have an increased GVW/payload rating
DHAP - Lock-Up Torque Converter - Not odd, you'll be hard pressed to find a transmission without a lock-up torque convertor
DRBP- Corporate 9.25 LD Rear Axle - This is just the size of your rear axle, it may have been an upgrade
ADHP - Heavy Duty Electrical Group - Usually just a more powerful alternator.
ADJ - Heavy Duty Service Group - I don't know, probably related to the item above, and below, this
AHC- Trailer Tow Group - Wiring harness, reciever winch, and sometimes transmission cooler and power steering cooler.
NMCP - Heavy Duty Engine Cooling - Maybe for the transmission cooler, power steering cooler,

Any more info on these codes would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

Ok... I have a transmission and power steering cooler, and I didn't really know what a lockup torque converter is. I have the 5.2L with 3.92 gears in the back. I was just looking to have some light shed on what kind of capabilities, as far as towing goes, my Durango had.

The Heavy Duty Packages include extra coolers like Steering, Trany. The Wiring package has extra leads for 6 wire RV towing capabilities. The regular only has a 4 wire. You can add the trailer braking package to complete the 7 wire hook up. The wire connectors that comes on the HD package dose not have the 1 wire for the trailer brakes, this is something you have to add to complete the 7 wire RV connection, although the connection is a 7 wire RV connection.
There are two different gear package's to choose from. The standard is 350 gear ratio, and the HD package has the 392 gear ratio. With the gear ratio upgrade which you have increases towing capabilities which increase your GVW.
The lockup torque converter is in the trany. When you press the tow button you increase pressure and lock out overdrive. This creates less slip (torque management) is removed and now you have no slip (torque management). This creates less wear in the trany for towing and city driving (stop and go) therefor no generating as much heat causing wear.

Hmm... Sounds like even though I put in $900 in parts and labor to redo the front end (ball joints on both sides, tie rods on one side, and bearings on one side) and am putting another $800 in for some body work, I still came out with a sweet deal by picking up my 1998 Durango with 65kfor $4500.

I got it from someone who couldn't afford to drive it, and they had some trouble handling the beast it seems. They hit a utility pole backing up and scraped up against something on the driver's side, so I need to get the rear bumper and support replaced, and the rear driver's side door and fender flares fixed and repainted. Luckily, my brother-in-law does body work and said he'd do the work for cheap. After that I'm going to have fun with adding some mods other than the CAI that I put in when I bought it.

I don't even consider a D to be a big SUV. yea its bigger than a Grand Cherokee, but I've never had an issue wiht it being too big, ie parallel parking, narrow spots at a mall. Only thing though, it doesnt fit in my garage that was built in the 50's. I can park the D straighter in a parking spot than I can my VW....wierd i know, but im rarely crooked in the D. Ford's have much bigger SUV, I'm pretty sure the newest genExplorer is bigger.

The lady I bought the Durango from was 5 foot nothing, so maybe she had a hard time seeing in it. I love the size of the D, it's perfect. The only thing I don't like is that the backup lights aren't very bright, which makes backing at night apain if you're in a rural area with no street lights. I'm thinking of mounting some small fog lights below the rear bumper to assist in night backing. Of course, I gotta get that bumper fixed first... Hopefully my tax return should be arriving ina week or two, and I'll have 'er in the body shop to get fixed up.
