i got a question.
would a engine cradle from a 1997 dodge intrepid
fit to a 1996 intrepid?..or is it different?

 

wow...ripped the lower control arm mount right out of the cradle...how'd that happen??

 

Anwser to you question. Yes it would. The reason for the lower arm ripping like that is because the recall wasn't done.

 

What recall? this makes me wonder if the recall was done on mine. If I ran the VIN at the dealership would they be able to tell me if it was done?

 

They should be able to. I had to call about my alarm system some time ago. They told me about the recalls done to my car and where it was originally bought from. That was just a few months ago.

 

I would also like to say that I'm sorry. Didn't mean to insult your intelligence. Just tried to make sure that you weren't about to do something you didn't know about. I just this past 5 minutes ago learned to look under the user name to see the rank. I guess I just got used to helping people who don't know much at all about vehicles. Sorry Bud.

now for the hard part is to remove the old cracked engine cradle...
any tips and heads up on how to remove the old one out?
