okay, i have been told the 420a is code for the dohc and sohc models, is this true? and what is the code for the sohc if 420a isnt it? thanks!

 

the 420a is the mitsubishi version of the 2.0
the dohc neon is an ecc and i belive the sohc is an ecb

 

Dodge DOHC = ECC
Dodge SOHC = ECB

Mitsubishi DOHC = 420a
Mitsubishi Turbo engine = 4g63

Mitsubishi did not design nor have ANY input into the DOHC ECC engine design. They just took the engine reversed the head and called it the 420a.
