Ok after looking more into it we found that there is an empty connector at the top left part of the engine. It looks like something is supposed to be connected to it but we can find nothing that is loose that could connect to it. Could this be causing the problem? What is even supposed to be connected to it? Picture below is of the empty connection hook up (its silver)
