It's lighter and smaller, so it slows down the other accesories so it doesn't rob the engine of HP.

other acc. liek heaters .. ac .. **** liek tht ths cool (dumb question coming) would tht make the heater and ac not run as good (hot or cold)

Accesories like the P/S pump, A/C compressor and alternator. They rob the engine of HP. Doesn't affect performance very much of these though while running a UDP.
