Strut bars won't help performance, but are nice to look at.

You can replace the bushings.

They do help body roll some and make the car stiffer. So I wouldn't say they are worthless on the neon, but don't expect drastic improvements. A rear sway bar on the other hand will make a difference.

If you do buy strut bars, make sure they are adjustable so you can preload them and make the car stiffer.

Oh, and get your alignment checked after ANY suspension work.

I was told when I got them for my camaro during take off or high Torque the una body flexes the strut bars help reduce that flexing giving you more control

the r/t's and acr's both have rear sway bars that are slightly larger then the other neons with them....
r/t's and acr's share most of the same suspension parts...

anyone need a rear sway bar??? i have 2 or 3 of them hanging in the garage
