$500 for the
JE Pistons

thats crazy i wouldnt do that unless i had a brand new engine thats alot of money to spend on something that might not last long i can understand spending it on bolt ons and stuff becuz it can come off but $500 for the pistons then 100 for the bore

but how much performance does it add?? like HP anyone know

i got a call yesterday from the shop that has my motor and i might be able to go and pick it up today...or i might have to wait until monday[:@]
just the block work is up to $750 so far.....bore and hone, cleaning the block, polish and balance the crank, new freeze plugs, and a few other minor things..
and its gonna cost me another $350 for the head work.....resurfacing, 3 angle valve job, and cleaing....
and then i still have ot install all the components[&:]
this motor is costing me more then i expected, but still isnt bad for 350hp

so my motor so far is costing:
$750 for the block, $350 for the head, $750 for the JE pistons and eagle rods, $250 for crane #14 cams, $100 for gaskets, $100 for oil pump, $120 for apg head studs, $100 for crane valve springs, and this isnt including the udp, timing belt, idler pulleys, i alredy have or the cam gears, bearings, screaming demon coil and 8mm plug wires i still need to get[&:]
