Has anyone else noticed that the first gen guys are obsessed with goin fast, while I have noticed alot of the 2nd gen guys doing all show and no go. I am not trying to put anyone down, but, why is it so different? Is it just taste or is the 2nd gen harder to mod?? Just wondering...

 

1st gens are better

 

2gn 2003 and up lost a 1/2 point in compression with no loss in HP or Torque so they are pre tweaked. So mods are mostly ineffective. I went to suspension on mine and a CAI for the noise. Outward is stock.

 

I personally went the performance route and I have a 2nd Gen

 

maybe because (this is my opinion) you can't make 1st gens as flashy as 2nd gen

so we just try to make ours faster

 

early 1st gens were built more for racing.....2nd gens became an economy family car

 

03-05 neons suffer from the NGC PCM. I like the looks of a black lowered 2nd gen but still stock on the outside.

 

i wouldnt mind having me an 04 graphite sxt.....but the 98 r/t would still be the GO car, the sxt would be the SHOW car

 

i'd rather paint my car that color!
