My ACR is stock except for the new CNNP Race Ported head I just swapped onto it (has the magnum springs in there as well). My idler pulley failed, snapped and shredded my timing belt and belt some valves, so I put the head on there.

Sounds fun to drive das2123.

Also sounds like you know Neons.
I've found this->
Magnum Valves:
intake, 7 bucks a pc.
exhaust, 10 bucks a Pc.
Mag Cam; $222
TheMagnum motor has bigger valves than my 97 SOHC
I see the words " plug and play" is this true for swap'n valves after a little bore ?
I just ordered the magnum valve springs... 16 of them
Now this valve mith has me thinking. Are my valves bad ?
Don't care if they are bad, if I can get more HP out of bigger valves sweet.

RE: Rebuilding Chrysler’s 2.0L Engine
It's time for a camshaft.
No valve jobs...
I have seen the COMP Cams and I'm not sure if I can use the one for the RT.
After reading this post as a reminder, I remembered that the R/T cam looked good! (It's been awhile!)
So I guess the 2001 R/T camshaft is the BEST choice for a 97 SOHC? I think this is a drop in too ?
And I need new springs ? (The ones I ordered never came, I could have sent Chuck Noris to the bank over this stupid daily limit rule.)
I will be orderinga camshaft with in the next week or so.
ANY feedback is welcome !!!

Yeah,
I think it is the Magnum motor.
This was dug up from the grave. Things happened a put a pause on my project...
But, there are any more cars out there that need to be out ran by a Neon Haahahahahahaaa
So as of now I plan on getting a 01 R/T Magnum Camshaft for my 97 SOHC
