the 95 block was also the same that was used for the 4g63 mitsubishi motor....with the main bearing notches on opposite sides..unlike the 96-99 blocks

Yeah, awesome find .

I plan on getting mine ported, 3 angle vaulve job and cylinders honed.
I have a new timing belt , water pump and head gasket kit w/ bolts.
I still want to do the cam and new rings while the engine is apart.

What other internals should I be prepair to replace ?

Higher compression pistons would be nice.

Sealed Power, Federal Mogul, hypereutectic coated skirt pistons... I ordered them and have them here. good call man[sm=goodidea.gif] ! I also have found out that I can use the valves out of a Neon Magnum (2001+) motor for more air flow. And the cam from one looks good also. I may still go with a Zex too though, dunno yet.. Now how NOS and turbos... this is a never ending project!!!

Works great also. I've had magnum springs and cam in a 95 head before.
