My dynomax rusted a hole thru it after 1.5 yrs..and its not from driving short distances....everytime I get in the car I drive at least 40 miles..lol Dynomax is junk in my opinion.A shop recommended flowmaster, said the way they weld it or something, has to do with the folds are better on flowmaster, and wont rust thru like dynomax.

flowmaters use thicker steel and do have stronger welds....they can really take one hell of a beating
the flowmasters dont have any fiberglass packing in them either, the packing in regular mufflers is what can usually cause the rusting to start since they hold in moisture better

i second the straight pipes idea.. lol. but that all depends on your "friendly" local law enforcement and how they are against modifications. i know around my area nobody really minds to much as long as u dont pipes the whole town but if a state boy is within ten miles of us... u can bet on gettin pulled over. but i like the pipes more than i dislike tickets
