RE: intake manifold
if it's running rich, take it to the dyno and tune it. get a wideband and do it yourself. fix what you can before spending money on something you may not need.

my 2.4 has no problem off the line with a stock 2.0 computer. unless you have cams you won't rev high enough to warrant spending on an ecu. plus you'll have to run 93 and gas is ridiculous. what cams are you running? stock 2.4 cams suck. replace the springs and retainers and run bc or at least crane 16's. that's the best thing to do to a 2.4

RE: intake manifold
ok well what if i switched out the man trans throtle body with an auto trans t.b. i know there is a 4 to mm diffrence and ported and polished the stock manifold ,is it worth it to go that route?i for got to tell you it also has 24 lbs fuel injecters

RE: intake manifold
Swap in the ATX TB (52mm as opposed to 49mm) and enjoy the better throttle response. Port and polish your stock manifold.
