is it pointless or bad to bore out intake manifold if i dont have a bigger Throttle Body or does it help some???

let me know becuz if for know i can get away with just boring that out till i get some money to get the 60mm Tb that would be cool

estneon is your neon pretty fast??
well i guess thats not a good question cuz i think my car is fast well that is until i take it up against something but i believe my acceleration is real fast till i get to fourth then its just top speed so if i raced from a stop i believe i would win against the few cars ive race becuz my top speed isnt very high
i usually just race when im driveing and someone gets in the other lane (on a 4 lane highway) and trys to pass me which they usually do pretty good becuz as i said my top speed isnt very fast (i dont know how fast becuz i still cant get me VSS to work)

estneon RE on Srt4 post of mine

i would LOVEa rwd

i have a GMc 1500 thats RWD well of course cuz its a truck but its so fun in the dirt i can spin tires pretty much anywere if it was my truck and not my moms i would be getting some pretty nice Perform parts for it

and im just a street racer lol (just when someone pulls up next to me im not all like fast and furious style, but i would love to have any car on that movie) so i cant really race any one in my class i just race with anyone who pulls up next to me but havent tested my from a stop (like at a stop light) well i have with some knew lookinghondawho had a gay looking spoiler like mine, so i reved up and when the light turned green i kinda just flew by himhe was staying along sidepretty good till i shifted into second.lol

when im in1st it like boggs down kinda then i shift to second and it shoots me back to my seat
LOVE IT

but im gonna race my friends little ricer pretty soon ill see how i do with that

i've heard that hte 60mm is better for turboed neons

if it's going to stay all motor (natural aspired or n/a)
then 55-57 is enough

just my .02

yea im just getting ready for my turbo 55 i good for n/a's to awnser all of tour ? it is pointless to bore it out when you don't have it...my neon is a fast neon not the fastese but my driving style is tuned for my neon or my strat, rwd drifting is not from the fast and the gay i never watched thatand i never will my friend drifts in a silvia s13 so i know the art just don't have the money.and you should take things in your class because i beat some ricers with their gf's in the car and they allmost diedyou should pratice calm driving methods

You want torque on the bottom end because thats what will get your car moving. Forget about the 60mm TB and just stick to the 52 or 55mm ones.

Sounds about what I'd offer for a modded neon that has probably been beating on. Remember, mod's DO NOT increase the value of a neon...they decrease value. If you wanted to sell it, return it back to stock and then sell it and sell all the performance stuff seperately. Thats what I did with my 97.
