how many of you have the SOHC??

are they really worth putting money into??

its seems liek i get stomped by everything

i have id say all the bolt on that can go on but theres really nothing else that can be done is there??

beside the pcm which only adds like 5-10 hp and lowers your fuel economy which for some reason i have a big enouph problem with

the faster you the more gas you use right??
becuz when im in my car its usaully petal to the metal is this bad for fuel economy i imagine that it is

so should i just stop with the mods on the SOHC any owners of this recommend it or are they just your daily driver??

 

keep modding it! SOHC FTW! the SOHC is a good modder, but it cant be modded as much (aka get as much HP) as the DOHC, least not without a LOT of money. but i know of several people who modded them have their HP well into the 300's. heck when my green Neon's SOHC gives out, i'm gonna do a performance rebuild on that one and that should get me around 200WHP.

 

well i left mine alone.....and i rolled over some v6's...but its also a mtx...which makes alot of a difference

 

hell yea the sohc can slauter alot of street tuners that why i got my sohc because its way more cool to have a 300+ sohc than a 300+dohcits alot more fun to do

 

There are plenty of other bolt ons that u don't have.
The SOHC can be a powerful car depending how much money u put into the car.

Sometimes I wish I would have saved up for another car like an SRT-4. The whole modding process is fun though.

 

yea even n/a engines can be fast with prefomance rebuild kits,intake,exhaust,ecu,headers,cams,cam gear,well i wasgoing tolist it all but thats to much workand then theres the turbo

what is the "mp 60mm tb"
does it add performance

 

i am the fastest sohc neon in idaho.

 

neon kit is the under car lightingkits and yea the modern prefomace 60mm tb is great you haven't forgoten tb is a throttle body again have youandmy neon kit its a 7 color 14 modes led neon kit and dazzellerr i'll have the fastest sohcin the world when i get the $$$$
