Default SOHC Manifold

On this forum I have heard people talk about porting a DOHC intake manifold. Is there a way that you can port a SOHC plastic intake manifold. If it is possible how is it done, and what parts do you need.

the plastic manifold isnt extremely thick.....so i would stay away from that...only thing you can really do is gasket match the ends

gasket match the runners, trim the injector humps and u can open up the throttle body hole to a certain extent to fit an o/s throttle body.
