alrite guys im looking to buy a new clutch wat would u guy suggest??????and how hard is it to put it in yourself????

 

hardest part is eremoving the tranny......but it isnt too bad if your mechanically inclined
get a clutchmasters stage 3 with a light weight flyweel
or the stock LUK clutch if your not worried about too much power

 

would the flywheel def be needed

 

No, but would be a nice addition for the clutch that spud suggested.

Get the PT clutch or Mopar Performance clutch (same thing) and be happy.

 

stock LUK pt cruiser clutch is tough.

 

And worth every cent and dollar.

i know this post is old but im looking into getting a performance clutch so it that what i would need or the mopar?

but which one is better

so is a flywheel seperate from the clutch or is the clutch the flywheel i really dont know much about anything but the clutch looks like a wheel

so if i get the mopar clutch what lightweight flywheel do i get??

The clutch is not the flywheel. Get the 2nd one as you will need a modular clutch. I'd stay away from getting a lightweight flywheel as you don't know the difference between the two yet.

 

ok so what is the differance... and why would i not want to get it... i will prolly get it someday.. i tried to find it on good the differance that is... and even asked my brother... but idk what the differance is..
