Default Question about lucas trans fix

I have heard of people on here useing the lucas trans fix stuff and what i am wondering is it said to add it to the existing trans fluid but wouldn't i have to take a quart of fluid out of my trans?

Its 24 oz bottle but it says on the bottle compact or sub compact vehicles use 12 oz. But what i am wondering is do i have to drain 12 oz out before putting this in. B/c it just tells me to add to existing trans fluid but that would put an extra 12 oz in my tranny.

You should be fine, 12 oz isn't going to overfill your tranny.

Just out of curiosity what would happen if i overfilled the tranny? Cause it is right where it needs to be without adding the lucas.

Tranny might not shift correctly, but 12 oz won't hurt.

I have never seen a mechanic in a bottle that was worth the trouble to carry home.

You don't need to change it. It's there for the life of the tranny.

But the Lucas stuff does work on the ATX, from what I hear.
