i have a 97 SOHC 4dr did a MTX swap, ive been runnin on the atx pcm for a while now n everything is workin great, but was wonder in how would u put the mx pcm in my car when the connection (pigtails) are different, is their a way to connect them together without havin to do a harness swap? or is theiran adapter i can purchase?? please help!!!

they plug right in, nothing to change
a 95 PCM is different, 96 -99 will plug in, but the 96 has to have 2 wires swapped to operate the fans. 97-99 are all interchangeable.
ATX and MTX computers have the same plug.
maybe you got a 95 PCM ?

^^^You have to swap pins, not wires for the 96 to 97-99 conversion.

 

oh ok i guess i have to look for another neon then, if i were to go to the dealer "hopefully not" or if i order from a modern performance i would jus have to ask for a 96-99 pcm, n not a 95?

 

add on to wat i asked above what if i were to put a DOHC pcm on my SOHC??

on ebay there is a mopar pcm goin got $249.99 good price or no?

used they go for around 120-150

if it's new then go for it!

 

yeah its brand new!! but still 250 alot $$ for me to spend all at once...lol...

if you can just ask around and try getting one used and save yourself 100 or more!

 

You need a 97-99 PCM and yes you can put a DOHC PCM on it. It will run a little rich, but not to bad.
