if you go to a better dyno shop, they should have fans or a "wind tunnel" type thing to recreate the cooling effect of the wind

some cars will actually reduce the amount of power available if they don't have air moving in/over the front end.

i think it's bmw's or mercedes that do this?

 

yeah i know one with a air tunnel but it's $200 an hr i could find one cheaper but i like them i don't use them nowbecause i don't care how much hp i have.....just what i win agaist every timebut alot of shops don't have air tunnels

 

Even then...I don't know how BIG a difference it would make. A dyno measures HP, which is calculated from torque. Torque isn't affected by vented hoods or fenders.

if he's auto, i wouldn't worry too much for the most part
if he's mtx... well, he's got 20 more hp to start with from the factory, so it depends on condition

vented stuffwouldn't make a big difference but it would help some really it dosen't add any but it frees some up but not alot probaby 1-5 maby 5 might be pushing itbut it gives some looks too.

if he's a stock auto don't worry if he's got alotmore mod'sthan you you would lose like if he's donesome cam work and also has a mopar pcmand stuff like that.or he's got a srt or 2.4 your done for check before you risk it.

 

Gtech works well when calibrated correctly, I've gottn 119hp stock while I was running Acetone and paint thinner in my gas. I also in disbelife Iran it at a friends dad who's work has a dyno and I got 118 on the dyno to the wheels over there, so I trust the Gtech to within 97% acuracy. After Trottlebody and DOHC PCM I got 10hp gain after both.
