i dont think if anything elsein my signature adds hp like the plugs and wires

just wandering about how much whp im pushing i dont even know if im pushing any more then stock but i would think i would be

i think you guys said stock is 110-115 whp

oh and im just curious sincei dont have a cat,will the dynomax turbo mufllerstill keep me in the ricer sound ?

i think my bumper and fenders add like 100 whplol

 

Questions like these are hard to answer because of all the variables that go into a dyno. If you are lucky...maybe 115-120 whp.

so when you go to a dyno does it cost money

 

i've always understood that it does
there's a speed shop up here that charges the normal shop rate ($75/hr) for dyno, but there's like, at least 3 hours to setup for tuning from what they told me, but they do have a special rate for a whole day

sometimes places have like, dyno days or test and tune days that may have free runs, but i doubt it

You shouldn't.

Stock vs stock with equal skilled drivers, here is how a 4 neon race would go:
1)DOHC MTX
2)SOHC MTX
3)SOHC ATX
4)DOHC ATX

 

just so i understand, and i think i do, the reason for this order is...
the dohc mtx has the highest rev limiter, shorter transmission
sohc manual next because it's the only other manual...
sohc atx because it makes its power lower than the
dohc which makes its power higher, but with the low rpm redline, it can't get into its power band very well

dyno's don't show how much hp when your driving because vented hoods and vented fenders add some hp when driving because you cool the engine off and get less hot air in the engine compartment. some front bumpers help to so in a way vented fenders add some hp on some cars some are for looks too but hood's make it alot cooler.some make the colderair flow go in the bumper andtake the warmer airout the hood and some make it go in the bumper andin the hood and the final setup is air flow that enters the bumper,hood,and grill then exits the fenders and this will cool down the engine by alot thats what i see when i put that kind of stuff on a car is air flow.
