Default Idle speed 98 neon

Did anyone know what the idle speed is suppose to be in a 98 neon SHOC? I change the whole cluster today with a tach (I don't have one before) and it idle at a little bit more than 1000. Just want to know is it normal. Also, I put a new cluster on with a lot more miles on it, Can I change it somehow or I have to live with it. Thanks in advance.

in my '95's it idles at 900 and in my '97 it idles at 800 and is rough. so much for the "idles to rough with the 4hp cam in the 95's" i think its because of my o2 sensor is bad though lol.

You can swap odometers in to keep your milage correct and NO it isn't against the law. It's pretty easy, but you will need a T15 and T9 torx bit.
