i need to know how many belts the 99' neon sohc has minus the timing belt. I am replacing them all this weekend and have found quite a few online at autozone.com,

What ones do i need. Here are thwe links and whats the differnece.

Besides the timing belt, you have the alternator belt (goes from the alternator to the crank pulley) and you have the power steering/AC belt (which goes around both and then to the crank pulley).

 

from what i can tell both those belts are basically the same....just a different style
you will need 1 v-belt for the powersteering/ air conditioning
and 1 serpintine style belt for the alternator

How long of a belt would I need to bypass theAC pump? my clutch went down and is screaching and annoying the fk outa me so Iwant to bypass it.
