egr block off
so, the egr is what then? exhaust gas recirculation unit,to send unburnt but still combustible gases from the exhaust back into the engine as intake air. basically its really low quality air being sent back into your engine instead of thru your catalytic converter and into the atmosphere. this will also cause your engine to run ****tier because your o2 sensors are gettin weird readings and when the pcm adjusts the map to accomadate the increase in combustables in the exhaust, the egr doesnt respond. so, correct me if i am wrong (i know someone will) but this can actually cost you more money in the long run. O2 sensor(s), cat, etc.
An EGR valve is desinged to send exhaust gases back through the engine to reduce Combustion chamber temps. This reduces pining and Nox gases. The whole reburning unburnt air thing is the pcv valve.

correct me if i am wrong but they both do pretty much the same thing, thats why the neon doesnt reallly have a pcv, it has a tube that kinda does the same thing. but the egr and pcv are technically are the same thats why most cars have one or the other?
I think you need to read on what a PCV valve does then...
