is the battery tray in this one altered. cuz if not i have a good idea of making my own intake.

stop now[:@] you want to turbo it right you have a good 100 post about turboing and now you want a ice man that wont workwith a turbo

 

lol. i kno but it wont b for a while until i do that. ill have to save up 3 grand so i can get the hahn stage 2. i was gonna get a srt turbo soon buti dont wanna put the srt turbo on there and mess up the engine.

 

its not ONLY the srt4 turbo that will do that......ANY turbo can mess up the motor pretty good...
besides if your wanting to get a hahn stage 2 then it will cost you 2-3 times as much and you wont get 250hp

the 1st intake isnt an iceman anyways....you can make your own for a few buck.....the 2nd one was on there a few days ago but didnt sell...reserve is probally about 150-200 bucks

 

im just worried about 11-14 pounds of boost when the internals are only good for 7.

 

Read up on some stuff about turbos... Just because that SRT-4 Turbo can effeciently push 18PSI of boost does not mean it will always push that.. You can adjust all that with the appropriate wastegates and blowoff valves and such....

 

yeah but if you want 250hp, then no matter what, with ANY turbo, you will have to worry about your motor....
look at it this way, 1 pound of boost is about equivelant to 10hp, then imagine taking your regular old plain stock motor and dumping 150hp in it as soon as you hit the gas......thats alot of wear on a stock motor....[&:]

 

and alot of fun lol i say save up for a engine build and a srt-4 turbo[8D]
