I'm thinking about buying this kit sooner or later, I'm only looking for a35-50hp gain, will this kit get me that on a SOHC Engine running 7psi?

 

Ebay turbo kits are made with cheap parts....thats why the price is CHEAP!

just get an srt turbo and manifold

 

the main problem with most ebay turbo "kits" is that they not only come with cheap parts, but they only come with about 25% of the parts that are needed

 

yea ive looked at all those neon turbo kits and then when u break it down from what your getting to the price you could have a slightly used srt turbo and intercooler along with all the other goodies for cheaper or close to the same price as those turbo kits... i mean i just got a srt 4 intercooler off ebay for like 80 bucks shipped and i feel a lot more confident putting that on my car then the ebay junker one rated for 1500 hp for like a houndred bucks

 

I might buy the Turbo Manifold off ebay and mod it for the Garrettor make my own manifold, right now I've heard some great stuff about the Garrett T03Turbo from the old 2.2 Kcars about how those engines did 12 second quarters on stock internals with a modified wastegate, granted I don't intend to run 15psi of boost or run 12s in the 1/4 milebut I would like a little more power to top off my car, it just needs a little push and I think this Garrett Turbo can do the job.

On the 2.2 the Garrett T03 gave a 50hp boost to the stock 100hp of the 2.2 and with the Neons better head design I should hopefully at least gain 50hp...I'd settle for 30hp gain too lol

The turbo you speak will do you good for the gains you are looking to get. I would not buy that kit off ebay for two simple reasons:

1) It says: "JDM TURBO" (lame sales pitch)
2) It also says "CNC Machine Flinges" (If they can't take the time to run a simple spell check, what does that say about their products?)

Thats a DOHC mani anyway, from your sig it says you have a SOHC.
