neons vs. civics-dispute

Id say in stock form, the neon is better performance wise, but when it comes to suspension, the civic has us.

How could I have forgotten that[:@] Oh well, when you put it that way, what is the civic's acr version? My sister's ex b/f has a 2001 civic 5spd coupe. He has drove my neon before and he says the neon seemed faster and more nimble, even though the neon is a 97 atx. I still think his civic is a pretty nice car though. The reason I really dis-like civics is mostly the drivers, and how most people go "eww, a neon?" Or "a neon is a little piece of ****". Then someone says something about a civic and its like its any other car, nothing wrong with them. I just dont understand where the neon got such a bad rep, is it just the name? The round headlights?

My wife always said that Hoochies drive Civic's....thats why she wouldn't get one

haha. just on a thing about Imports. my green Neon made it to 247k before i finally retired it. and it was still running great. only thing that it needed was oil changes (and at one point it went almost 30,000 miles inbetween an oil change [:@]) and a water pump...or two. our other Neon has 213k on it and still going. its had its share of problems but most of it was due to a mechanic who didn't know ****. and ended up breaking the timing belt just after he installed it.
we had a Tercel. granted yes it was a Tercel but still, many people say they were tanks and could take a buse and such. so we got one. it died at 140k. then we had a Subaru Legacy. it made it to 202k but that thing was nothing but a money pit since the day we got it when it was 120k on it. needless to say, we now 100% mopar once again and will always be...least thats what my dad and I say lol. anyways this thread has gone to crap so i'm not going to be in it. least not try to be.
