you can get a mechanical LSD for about $400 or you can do the lincoln locker method if you want.

neither is specific to 4 cylinders.

a mechanical Limited Slip Differential, is something like this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/OBX-LSD-HELICAL-D...QQcmdZViewItem

check the OSB site for more info or search LSD's to see how they work.

Lincoln locker is the term used to weld spiders because Lincoln is a very common brand name of ARC welders.

ive never had it apart either. the only time ive done it was to rear ends. i suppose you could look at a diagram of the transaxle and figure if its possible. one thing i would keep in mind, is track RULES and the possibility of not having much steering control in the dirt, under power.

bones you might know of jodie bish ..the black 1b neon with the orange cypress on the side that races marrianne center...well he has his tranny locked and he cleans up out at marrianne center....judging by how many feature win stickers the car had on it when i raced agianst him at knox this year...i need to lock up my tranny cuz their is noway hes making more power than me..and hes not a better driver cuz i was runnin with him ..but he was killin me in the turns cuz of the locked tranny.
