yesterday i went out and gotta duralast battery because my old everlast finally gave up. i was wondering if the alternator is bigenough for my toll that i put on it.i drive to and from work and school everyday plusi leave on my lunch breaksand the total time the engine is on never exceeds 6 minutes. does the alternator have enough time to charge the battery back up from the draw of the starter in that amount of time while my stereo system is on? I have a 1000 watt amp powering 2 12s. if it helps any i do have a capicitor onmy amp. andto think that i was gonna geta mpx udp. nevermindthat idea.any opinions? thanks

if you really turn it up then you can easily notice the dome light fade. but before i had the cap it would pulse really easily to the hits of the subs.

When you are playing your stereo loud your alt is barly keeping up (in time will destroy the alt) They do make high output alt I know cause i have one.

if you don't have the money for a high output amp buy one from oreilly's auto parts, free lifetime warrenty, as long as you don't mind replacing it. replaced mine about 3 times over 4 years but only paid once
