Yay! At least my neon can stop now lol. I would suggest that everyone inspect their brake lines, mine had just about a foot of rust that was horrible, I will get pics up in a few minutes. It only took me about an hour, that includes jacking up the car and bleeding all 4 wheels.

 

Ironically i had just the same situation rusted up brake lines. Not an easy job but i got it done as well..... with my dads help

Yea dude they looked pretty bad I just had to change thelines on mine a couple months ago.

 

Yeah, you would think they should last longer than this though...

 

How long were they on there?

 

They are stock, so ten years, you would think they would last longer than that though...

 

You need to learn how to use the focus on your camera...man, that hurt my eyes!

Man i just done my brake line on my neon also. Blew on left rear right before it goes up under the gas tank so i replaced the whole line till about middle of back door. It was rusted up just as bad as yours.
