when i let off the gas @ 65 my steering wheel starts to vibrate kind of bad. it doesnt any other time though. the car feels perfect up to like 63, then this crap starts. cv joints going bad just click when you turn right? guy said it was a cv joint but ive replaced those in a 90 new yorker and it didnt feel like this

 

could just be your tires are out of balance. or could be a bent rim or something. when my shook at highway speeds it was cause my wheel studs were slowly breaking causing my wheel to almost fall off going about 80mph. that was just a freak accident but yea lol.

 

sometimes bald tires cancause FWD cars steering wheels to shake

 

my stratus dose it at 55mph....i keep whating to go to the tire shop and have them inspect it

 

ok im taking it to an allignment/tire place tonight. i hear a constant clicking now when i let off the gas at any speed. def. thinking its the cv joint. i hadnt hear that before cuz i always had the windows up. ive only had this car since sunday. im going to have the allignment and tires checked too just in case. thanks guys.

will a 2.4 auto stratus take my 5sp DOHC sport? my friend says there is no way my neon can run his stratus

 

find a good tire shop with a badass balancer that will balance within 1/8th of an ounce, not the normal 1/4th. front and backend alignment, tire rods, sway bar links, all kinds of things make our cars shake. piece by piece my man.

 

and if your steering wheel ever begins to shake from side to side rapidly, get out and look at your wheel studs lol.

 

a 2.4 autostratus will not win agaist aneon if it'sastock stratus....my stratushas had a few things done and i can drive it damn good...plus i am the only stratus owner who hates dubs so i don't got that agaist me....tell me more about your neon and his stratus and i will be able to help you out.

 

make sure thelug nuts are tight.....
binding CV joint will do that

 

mech says its cv joint. i trust him. ive got my haynes and a new driveaxle. tonight should be fun. ive done this before so im ok, hope this fixes it. this car is fun.
