^^^Go to your local SCCA or Auto-x event and look at the neons there and see how many of them are running drilled/slotted rotors.

my brakes were worn and the car is w/out abs. in a situation (like in pa when there is suddenly a deer in your path) where i have to get on the brakes hard and quick, i had much more control without the wheels locking up (yeah i know duh but im just saying.) i did decrease my stopping distance, but only noticably because the wheels dont stop turning now when i hit the brakes hard. that was probably just because of the condition of my original rotors though.

i don't race the car, i just drive normally. so under normal conditions i definetly don't notice a disadvantage with these rotors. i have an mtxso i am lighter on the brakes than someone with an atx would be. if these things crack on me during a stop i will surely post and let you know so I can be put in my proper place. for my intentions and purposes im glad i got these. its not a contradiction of est or das cuz the two have provided so much info on this forum its ridiculous and i know we all appreciate it. im just saying to each his own. i really like my neon and im having fun making itbetter imo of what better is.

Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking them...but I don't want others to get the impression that they are an upgrade over OEM rotors.
