will a car crank over if it has a bad starter?? also, are the sohc and dohc starter the same in case i need one??? thanks

the sohc and dohc starters are the same.....only difference may be the years...95,96, nd some 97's have 1 different plug then some 97's, 98, and 99's

if the car turns over then the starter should be fine
