Hey guys wondering if anyone has a plastic SOHC intake laying around that they may want to get rid of at a reasonable price???

yes it is pvc. And yes it does work. as long as you dont turbo it . its basicly a box style intake manifold that the DOHC guyscan do, but this is how us SOHC guys do it since ours are plastic. I guess if you wanted to go and get the ultra uber rare metal one you could but hell i found a plasic one for 20 bucks shipped. It's been dynoed by a guy on the other forumand he got some damn good gains.Heres a few more pics...

Why can't you turbo it? if its because of the Glued joints, I have a cure for that

 

aluminum sohc manifolds arent that rare. i come across them regularly.

 

thats wierdmy 95 DOHCcame with a plastic intake manifold

 

AMM I'm not trying to take anything away from you what so ever your intake manifolds are abobsolutly astonising I've looked at them many times just wishing I could aford one. I just wanted to do this on my own and challange myself, thats all. And where I live, Great Falls Montana. They dont have much of a selection. Now I can weld like a mother but It would be alot cheaper to try a proto type in plastic and pvc and JB weld. Just trying to have some fun.
