they side marker lamps, i'm thinking about getting rid of them and fiberglassing the bumper molding all the way around the front bumper

 

state by state legality, but odds are most police wouldnt notice them missing. if you arent worried about the safety aspect. its a rarity the lights are actually used by other drives to tell what you're doing. but almost all cars have them. even back to the 60's and 70's. so theres gotta be logic behind it.

 

Side markers became a federal mandate for the '68 model year.

 

i dont think the side markers have worked on any of my neons in a long time.....i dont think anyone would say anything

 

Best to check with your local inspection station if you have one in your state. Also youmight be opening yourself up to a lawsuit should you be involed in an accident. Removing manufacturer installed safety equipment.

hmm well i dont think all cars have them so i would just take them off cuz ive seen alot of cars without side markers and the only way anyone can tell is if you have your blinker on right?? but if you have to have it inspected then i would ask them are you talking about molding it to have no seams if so then Sweet cuz i think that looks the best

 

in texas the side lights are not nessecary. mine didnt work and i painted over mine and no problems yet
