the link i showed u does hav a tach.
and if u wire it to the dimmer, u can make it glow bright at night right?
and yea it says it comes with a power inverter, but i dont know where that goes.
i am asking, since the stock gauges glow yellow, how will the new ones glow a bright blue if you just lay them on top?
someone help...........

ok its kinda hard to explain...
if you were to hook them up without installing them and turn them on they glow. I dont exactly know if it is a weird type of LED or what but they glow pretty bright too...The orig. light that is behind the stock gauges dont really show threw all that much i just un pluged them. As for where to put the power inverter when you take off your upper dash there will be a little cubby hole off to the left where the left vent is I just ran my wires down to where the light switch is and taped the red wire into thebig greenwire and grounded the black wire tothe screw that is underneath the cluster itself. you will see that screw when you remove the cluster.

ok here we go.... sorry for the quality of the pics its 2deg. here and dark as hell...
ill explain as we go...
the first pic is of where I installed the power inverter its the cubby hole that i refererd to before in this pic you can see all the components of the inverter...
on the bottom there is a black box. that is the "power inverter" itself... right above that is the dimmer switch that will dim the new gauges. and right below the blue butt connectors you will see a clip, this clip is where the power inverter acually attatches to the aftermarket gauge itself.

Second pic just shows how the inverter looks from the bottom and where the wires come out...first there is the wire that has the clip that attatches to the gauges, there were 3 clips on mine (only one is needed for the gauges) so i used the other two to power my volt and vac. gauge...Second there is the power wires, like i said connect the red wire to the big green wire on the head light switch. and the black will be grounded to anybare metal. Then on the far right is the dimmer switch. I will post a few more pics I ran out of 500k fast.

i Put mine in the "chubby hole as well, but for the dimmer switch i popped out the fog light/ rear window defog panel. Cut a hole in the bottom of it and mounted the dimmer switch in there and plugged it back in.
heres a pic of my gauges from my phone

That was at having the dimmer switch at like 75% it could go brighter just dont wanna blow it as its sensitive
