My best mpg in my SOHCATX is 41 mpg highway, no lie. I got 180 miles to the first quarter from full. This was of course driving 55 mph for a 3.5 hour trip and putting it in neutral going down hills
Did you refill the tank when it got to the 3/4 mark to find the actual gallons used? I don't know about Neons but a lot of the injected engines shut the injectors off when coasting.
In my 96ACR i bought ny car in kelowna and drove home.. almost 700 KM and wen i got into town my low fuel light came on and i was crusing at about 110 km/h min to about 150km/h passing people.
