So I got my 95 cam today in the mail and all i can say is wow...I've seen some pretty good cams in my day but this looks like it was used for maybe 500 miles theres no wear on it what so ever no nicks nothing. looks brand new...

Did you check it with a set of calipers to make sure you got a 95 cam?

 

i found a 95 engine what is so differant about the 95 everytime i looking for a part for my 98 it always says make sure to specify if it is a 95.. so what is differant??

 

The cam is different, different valve cover, all the sensors and coil pack have round pins instead of flat pins, one of the sensors is in a different place on the intake too. Also the PCM and plugs is totaly different.

 

its a 95 the identifying marks are there.... no need for calipers what so ever...95 cams have 6 sets of lines stamped around the end....96-99 cams have 6 sets of 3 punch marks stamped around the end...

 

My bad, I completely forgot about that. I remember reading about it I think in one of the stickys up top...
