So let me get this straight. You dont need a map clamp for 95's, but 96-99 you do? What engine would i better of turboing?

95 and 96-99are the same Engine with exception of Electrical hookups and a few other minor differences.

Thats a good question, i know that after 95 they made 2 of the sensors into one. I would guess you wouldent be able to use the missing link, you would have to use the voltage clamp style on the 95.

You can use the Missing Link on a 96-99 Engine.

Its a combined sensor, MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) and IAT (Intake Air Temp) Useing the missing link which is basically a check valve designed to work with the Map sensor wont affect the IAT fromsensing correct intaketemperature in the combined sensor design.

And on the 1995 you shouldn' have any problems as it fits under your current map sensor. The 95 intake has the same map plug in that the 96-99 have only difefrence is they combined them into one sensor and they put a block off in the manifold where the old IAT used to be.

You have your Choice of a either a map clamp or missing link. If you don't like wiring and soldering go with the missing link and if you like total adjustability of your air fuel ratio go with the map clamp. Installing the missing link is a 2 minute job installing the map clamp takes a little bit depending on your skills and patience stripping and cutting wires.

So its correct to say that the intake manifolds arr different between a 95 and a 96? Where is best cheapest place to get missing link?

http://www.racingworks.com/missinglink.htm it says you need to modify the map sensor for it to fit on the sohc? Can i just use the dohc sensor or something>?
