(thats from my other Neon but its the same location.) its where it splits into two lines with one going to the heater and the other to the radiator/motor. would that be my water pump??? or just that peice is loosing its grip or whatever?

Could possibly be your water pump bearing, when mine leaked from the same place it was the bearing that went out and leaked out anti freeze all over the front of my engine even in the same place your picture is taken. It wasn't leaking from that side but from from wind and what not it got thrown to that side and once I put a new water pump in no leaks or wetness from that side at all.

if its leaking from right there, then i would assume that you just need a new o-ring for where the plastic tube goes into the block...

know what the parts name is? lol besides the o-ring?

edit: I just went and moved the car out of my garage and.....there was chocolate milk under the car. went to check the oil and oil was all gone and the coolant was all gone. it never lost oil before so it kinda sounds like the head gasket. bloody dang it and i checked the front and sides of the head and theres no leakage but on the back its nothing but oil on the backside of the motor and head

as far as i know, the o-ring is just considered a water pump gasket....you just have to specify if its the gasket or the o-ring

I don't think it would be called the water pump gasket as it doesn't touch the water pump directly and theres allready a o ring gasket that directly touches the water pump.
