ok so i know it can be done but how?? oviously a coustom exhaust manifold?? or can you buy twin turbo kits i figured youwould just buy to turbo kits

well my friend has a Hyundai Tiburan and it has twin turbos and nitrous and i know theres no way in hell my car can keep up with it not even out big brothers can (srt4) i saw a video on youtube of the srt4 getting smoked by the Tiburan..

so thats what got me interested

 

after i see car like taht i dont even see it worth trying to make mine fast... what keeps you guys going putting all this money into your neons when you could go buy a car twice as fast or one that has capabilities of being twice as fast...

the tiburan is prolly way newer then my friend but im sure there the same thing his is a 2000 i have not seen it but my friend has and he said that is twin trubos with Nitrous and if that video is correct thr tiburon walks all over our big bro

dcr (darrell ***'s Racing") has a new kit for the srt-4 that is runing a duel set up pushing just over 500 hp on a stock block stock cams, on street gas... pretty insane tried to find link but couldent.... kit cost just over 5000 bucks with all the goodies...

so in theroy since we can put a stock srt-4 turbofold on our 2.0's with just about the same clearance as a srt-4 has (about 1/2 difference, witch can be massaged out with a sledgehammer) we could mount it to our 2.0's, BUT I highly doubt we would be able to spool both turbos efficantly, hell its hard enuf to spool a t3/t4. But I guess with the right cams and port and polish job we could spool them power might not turn on right away like with the TD04 but we could use the power up top anyways. If i recall they are using a TD04 and then a slightly bigger turbo, and the turbos are not inline, ie...one turbo spooling the other like duel desels they are the bigger turbo was v-band. but thats all i can remember...I will try to find the link tomorrow...

Why? You car is most likely not going to be street-able, and you can make the same power with a single turbo setup. That is more"bragging rights" if anything. Len pushed 600hp on a single turbo that still had more power in it. It really does not look cost effective. Not to mention is is more difficult to tune a twin turbo setup, than a single. It's all in what you want to do, but taking the path of least resistance seems a wiser move.

In my humble opinion, 250-300 in a neon is MORE than enough to toast 85% of what you will run into on the street/track. Anything more is for youtube

 

well i think if i had $9500 for my car it would smoke his tiburan.. thats how much he spent on the turbos and Nitrous.. i dont know if i could stomp his car but i figure i can keep up with it..

the stats on the 2000 n/a tiburon is pretty close to our neons..

but with 9500 i could get the turbo kit for what 2700 and then just get better evrything for the internals..

 

I compleatly agree with you ghost but still is impressive on a stock block and on pump gas without water injection or meth injection. this was just to get a good tune.. oh and its compleatly streetable. the TDo4 kicks in when it normally does and then the biger one kicks in at higher rpm. This car with better bottom end running race gas and water/meth injection could easyly be the first 1000hp srt-4... (to my knowledge.)
