i actually just took the tranny out of my car that has the phantom grip in it......
it works good from a dead stop, but once your moving, you dont even notice its in there

there are little springs inside the p.g. that works like a cyntrifical clutch....when you nail the gas from a dead stop, it grips both axels...then once you get moving, it releases them...
