You dont need to cut a mount off just make one its alot easier. As for the wiring there is two clips on a factory mtx car the one closest to the firewall is the speedo. then theclip closest to the radiator is the reverse lights. you need that clip so get one off a factory mtx neon. then on an atx neon there are three clips one is the speedo, then there is the torque converter solenoid pushclip it is the two wire pushclip just zip tie that one away u dont need it. Then there is the final pushclip that is the back up lamp/neutral saftey switch it has three wires. Thats the one you need to splice into one wire ispurple with a black stripe another is white and i forgot the third but the third is the neutral saftey switch. Take the purple with black strip and white wires and match them with the ones on the clip. Use the third for neutral saftey to run into the cab to the clutch pedal then to a ground.

this "chattering" your talking about...do u mean when u let off the gas at high rpms the car rocks forward a couple times then slows down smoothly. then when you hitthe gas again without using the clutch at all it rocks backthen goes smoothly. cuz this is what my car does. also if you have the clutch out in 1st or2nd gear with no gas and at low rpms the car continues to rock back and forth until you give it gas.

Yes thats what i meant srry about the typing.
As for the chattering the only possibility left that i can think of is that the trans that i put in has 169xxx on it and i think that the bearings are worn out and it just could use a rebuild but that can wait for a while.

This is the plug on the front of the atx its a push on plug. Three wires from left is a purple with black stripe, middle is brown with yellow stripe right is white. The purple and white are for reverse lights. and the middle which is brown is for the neutral saftey. you can do the neutral saftey two ways run it inside to the clutch pedal and then to a ground or just ground it in the engine bay.
